Arizona police said Wednesday that a 92-year-old woman who did not want to be sent to a nursing home by her 72-year-old son recently shot and killed her son while he was asleep.
Police said the old woman hid two pistols on her body and shot her son dead several times before the first gun was knocked off by her son’s girlfriend who was sleeping next to her. She pulled out a second gun, was knocked out again, and was arrested by the police who arrived.
At present, the old woman faces first-degree murder and other charges.
